Jennifer Harrison

Jennifer Harrison writes un unceded Wurundjeri land and has published nine books of poetry, most recently 'Sideshow History' (Black Pepper 2025). Two new collections "After René Char’s ‘Receiving Orion’” (Imprint Publishing) and 'Finals' (Whitmore Press) will appear in 2027 and 2028. She chairs the World Psychiatry Association’s Section for Art and Psychiatry and received the 2012 Christopher Brennan Award for sustained contribution to Australian poetry. Her most recent prize is the co-awarded 2024 Heroines International Poetry Prize. Her poetry was shortlisted for the 2024 Peter Porter Prize (Australia) and the 2025 Alastair Reid Pamphlet Prize (Scotland).
