a F O’H - JW engagement
Shadow mouthing slit in you, walk
tiny telescopes pacing about, misty
hold a candle in the prop man’s garden
fondling you stout purple pouting lady – look!
Into his braces furs something voluptuary
hear the tickling pulse, funereal, explaining
pale grey bleached heart erect
& up front a beating silent young thing
blown in a muffler – slit;
his actor voice already exposed
under a snowy bosom nestled.
Disguise it like the old, mumbling
unwrap the sheath of a slit picking
her teeth in the young man;
away among his feet weeks later
there the lead usherette goes under -
everyone muffled up inside
over a slit sparrow’s shell.
