Schon

Diane Raptosh

Schon, already; (as) yet; (the) very, even; certainly, all right

All right, I often feel rottweillered by the world
A senator just blared at a hearing I don't want reality!
Angry men trade out their acres of lawlessness
And any doc would say Earth is really quite sick right now
Still eternity blinks at me like I’m her favorite neighbor
Says Tell life’s billion plagues about the timelessness already
They say the budh in Buddha means to be awake
Okay, I like to glide around the room and watch things sit still
A towel, a pen, set of graven binoculars not looking anywhere
Awake might mean to breaststroke with death before it drinks you
To find that hidden fish inside the living skeleton
Fishy jowl arches evolved to our inner ear bones
Already these measures of being are gilled within rhythm
As early as ever before now the air we wear around us is aquarium

Note: Translated into English, schon can become any of these English words: as early as, before, even, just, now, still, okay, quite, really, very, yes
