Again, again

The sun sighs again like a black heart
sighs the sea turns itself over
and inside out as if searching for
a lost charm the sky folds into itself
clouds hoping not to lose them
the earth black still looks on
as the white lilies tremble to be free
of it and the stars wait to ascend
