Sam Saxton is a writer, producer, climber and queer. In 2024, they graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) at the University of East Anglia, where they were shortlisted for the 2025 Curtis Brown Prize. Their stories have been published in various journals, including Foglifter, The Rumen and The Phare (who shortlisted one of their stories for their contest WriteWords 2022). They are working on their first novel, One Thing or the Other, which was a winner of Frog Literary Agency’s 2024 contest to receive manuscript feedback. They studied English at Cambridge, and live with their partner in Manchester.
