jacob wolos (he/they) is a queer and diasporist Jewish poet, scholar-activist, and community organizer. Their work is most intimately concerned with topics that involve migration, the transmission and distortion of collective memory, and vibrant materialism. Foundational to their practice is citation, poetry as exegesis, the holiness of language found in dialogue, translation, and mistranslation: jacob finds purpose writing alongside all those who use language as a reclamation. Ram Dass guides his poetry with the quote, “we are all just walking each other home.”
