LPB’s avid Reader and Tweeter, I write about history and outsiders, ice cream and science, and growing up in Rome.
Favourite authors include Ursula Le Guin and Ray Bradbury for their poetic writing and ability to create new worlds. A hidden gem I’d like to share is The Dreams of Santiago Ramón y Cajal, in which Benjamin Ehrlich brings us the beautifully expressed thoughts of the Nobel-winning Spanish neuroscientist who, a hundred years ago, dared to challenge Freud’s ideas.
When not frantically reading and writing, I’m consulting on communications and tending to my family and garden.
